Eucharistic Adoration

Sisters and brothers,
As we continue our journey through the liturgical year, I invite you to join us for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every Tuesday from 8:30 am to noon.
This sacred tradition, rooted in the early Christian Church, allows us to adore and worship Jesus Christ present in the Eucharist. The practice of Eucharistic Adoration dates back to the 13th century, when St. Juliana of Liège promoted devotion to the Real Presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. Over time, this devotion spread throughout the Church, and today, countless Catholics around the world adore and pray before the Blessed Sacrament.
During our Tuesday Adoration, we pray for the needs of our parish, our community, and the world. We seek solace, guidance, and strength in the presence of Jesus. I encourage you to take some time out of your busy schedule to join us in this holy hour of adoration.
Currently, we have only three parishioners who come every Tuesday to adore and pray to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. If you ask me, that number is disappointingly low. During His agony in the garden, Jesus asked Peter and the other sleeping disciples, “Could you not keep watch with me for an hour?” (Matthew 26:40). I know that “The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak” (Matthew 26:41), but that’s why we need to stay close to the fire. Please join us to worship, adore, thank, and pray to Jesus before the Blessed Sacrament. I tell you; this spiritual exercise will keep you close to the Heart of Jesus and nourish your soul.
I look forward to praying with you on Tuesdays.
God bless you! Father Marcel
