Obituary for David "Dave" Peter Moen

Moen, David "Dave" Peter, 75 of Minneapolis passed away at home peacefully on August 8, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 18, 1951, he is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Anne Marie (Franklin) as well as his five children, Mary Moen, Chris (DeAnn) Moen, Stephanie Anderson, Mike (Tricia) Moen, and Suzy (Dave) Dahlmeier as well as his ten grandchildren, Nick, Hailee, Keely, Maddee, Henry, Libby, Alyssa, Rocky, Harry, and Ryan. Preceded in death by his parents Art and Corinne (Seggelink) Moen and his sister, Mary Ann Moen.

Proud graduate of De La Salle High School, Class of 1969, and St. Thomas College, Class of 1973; as well as cherished "grandfather" of his Minneapolis neighborhood, Dave helped everyone and in every way that he could whether it was cleaning up the neighborhood park, driving grandchildren to and from practices, helping his children and neighbors with various projects and being a friend to all.

Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 21 at 11 AM with visitation at 10 AM at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 3811 Emerson Ave. N, Minneapolis. Interment St. John the Baptist Cemetery, New Brighton.
