Pentecost Celebration, May 24

May 24th is the SOLEMNITY OF PENTECOST when we celebrate the birth of the church, God’s gifts of the spirit being showered on all nations.

To recognize “all nations,” again we are putting out a call to parishioners for flags of their birth country or nationality that could be included in our liturgy on that day. Any size flag, purchased or handmade, is acceptable and, if possible, should have a rod or stick enabling it to be displayed.

If you are willing to share an international flag we would like to have them by May 17th, one week in advance of Pentecost Sunday. They can be dropped off at the office during the week or in the back of church after a Sunday mass along with your name.

Alex Schindler will join us for Pentecost Sunday. Please mark your calendars and join us.
